Dr. Mark R. Goldspink

Dr Mark R Goldspink is a senior executive and technology strategist with over 35 years of international leadership experience across oil & gas, payments, IT, and data science. As Senior Management Consultant to PHC Mobility, Mark works at the convergence of mobility, AI, and payments, helping clients navigate the “liminal space” where legacy systems, emerging technologies and new regulations collide.

Mark’s global experience spans Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, holding CEO, CTO, and Board-level roles at multinational organisations and high-growth ventures alike. As CEO of The ai Corporation, he led international expansion and built partnerships across the UK, Germany, the US, Australia, South Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council. He has also worked closely with major oil companies, card schemes, and processors in more than 20 countries, including engagements with Shell, BP, Visa, Mastercard, P97, PDI, and TCS.

A recognised pioneer in AI commercialisation, Mark launched the first Gartner-endorsed fully automated fraud detection platform and co-developed a UK-wide AI-driven fuel pricing platform with the University of Manchester. His technical expertise spans real-time ML, fraud prevention, cross-border and alternative payments (e.g. fuel cards, wallets), cloud-native architecture, and semantic tooling — including Ontology Wizard™, a product of his innovation in operational data modelling.

Mark combines his scientific rigour with business pragmatism. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry, a mini MBA from Ashridge Business College, and multiple patents in data architecture and fraud detection. As an Associate at the Fintech Advisory Network, Ambassador and Awards Judge for the Payments Association, and guest lecturer on AI and transformation, he actively contributes to industry progress and talent development.
